Cheyenne County Hospital is on the cutting edge for a rural Critical Access Hospital as we strive to Improve Access to Quality Healthcare for our community. We are a 16-bed critical access hospital with two Rural Health Clinics in St. Francis and Bird City. We are continuously seeking opportunities to grow. A Family Medicine Physician MD or DO with Obstetrics is needed to join this growing group practice which includes one MD, an APRN NP-C, an FNP-C and a part-time Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP-AC).
Job/Practice Description: Family Medicine w/ OB Physician
- Family Medicine with Inpatient and Outpatient Responsibilities
- 4-Day Workweek in rural health clinics
- One Saturday morning per month
- 1 in 4 ER call coverage (one day/week, one weekend/month)
- Currently 1 other FM w/ OB physician
- Take Over an Established Patient Panel, Build a Full Practice in a Few Short Months
- Ability to do C-Sections with privileges at Hospital
- EMR: Cerner Community Works
- 300K Base Salary, Relocation costs, loan repayment
- Paid CME
- 401k with Employer Matching
A strong cardiopulmonary/respiratory therapy, Rehab department (Physical therapy, Occupational therapy, aquatic therapy, women’s health, speech therapy), diagnostic imaging, full laboratory, wound care departments and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy are available in the hospital. Currently, specialists include cardiology, ophthalmology, audiology, pain management and a general surgeon who specializes in colon and rectal surgery. Outpatient services include MRI, mammography, nuclear medicine and sleep studies.
