Mission Statement

The Laboratory personnel of Cheyenne County Hospital are dedicated to our customers, the patient population and medical staff. We strive to give our providers pertinent medical data in a timely, accurate, and meaningful manner, to insure the best possible care for all patients. Through our quality control, management and team work. 

Quality Assurance/Accreditation Information

An active quality assurance program is in effect and evaluated daily. Parameters monitored and evaluated are; specimens, reagents, equipment, procedures, control materials, technical competence and documentation. 

We presently participate in the American Association of Bioanalysts (AAB) external proficiency review program for Chemistry, Hematology, Diagnostic Immunology, Microscopy, Bacteriology.

Hours of Operation: Monday-Friday, 7 a.m.-5 p.m. 
Weekends: Prearranged Draws Only; Call (785) 332-2104 to schedule 

Direct Access Testing at Hospital Laboratory
Monday-Thursday: 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
Friday: 8 a.m.-4 p.m.

Requests will be accepted between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Specimens received after 5 p.m. will be held to the following day for testing, if the analysis would extend beyond normal hours and a delay in testing will not effect test results.
