CT Scans

Computerized Tomography (CT) allows doctors to diagnose and treat a variety of conditions earlier and faster than ever before. A New 16 Slice CT was installed in 2011. CT combines X-Ray equipment with computer technology to allow your physician to see your organs and tissues. This is different than a regular X-ray. CT creates images of thin cross sections of you body. 

Using specialized equipment and expertise to create and interpret CT scans of the body, radiologist can more easily diagnose problems such as cancers, cardiovascular disease, infectious disease, trauma and musculoskeltal disorders. CT of the body is a patient-friendly exam that involves little radiation exposure.
