Wound Care

Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Department

The Wound Care Clinic at Cheyenne County Hospital was organically established, starting in 2015, as need in the community grew for this personalized care.

Tyler Raile PA-C, has 20 years of on-the-job experience in treating wounds and achieved his Wound Care Certification in 2016. He and his team strive to provide an intimate approach to health care. As a patient in his clinic, you will get to know and be known by the treatment team. The treatment team also includes Rachel Doty PT, DPT as the Program Director, Jen Austin CNA and Carol Eve Harris CNA.

Cheyenne County Hospital has partnered with NexGen Hyperbaric to bring this service to our community. Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is a safe, effective method of delivering oxygen to the body at a cellular level. This program is an addition to the existing wound care program at CCH that has treated and healed thousands of patients in the area.

Patients who have suffered from chronic wounds for months, even years, are routinely restored to health in a shorter time than they ever thought possible. Patients who have non-healing wounds, most often associated with diabetes, immobilization, and circulatory problems, contribute to the majority of chronic non-healing wounds and require specialized and aggressive care.
