Outpatient Surgery

Surgery is a serious undertaking. This is why we want you to feel as comfortable as possible with our team and us.

Our Outpatient Surgery Program is based upon your needs. After surgery is complete you can be taken home to recover in the care of loved ones in your own personal surroundings. Most surgeries will require additional appointments or check ups. Some surgeries may also require physical therapy to fully recover. Please check with you doctor about post surgery care.

Dr. Frankum

Dr. Charles Frankum, a highly experienced general and colorectal surgeon, has dedicated his career to serving rural communities along the Kansas and Colorado border. Graduating from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in 1995, he utilizes minimally-invasive techniques for faster recovery times and performs surgeries related to the abdomen and lower digestive system. In addition to treating conditions like cancer, polyps, and ulcerative colitis, he also specializes in routine procedures such as hernia repair and colonoscopy. With a passion for family, Dr. Frankum enjoys spending time hunting and fishing with his three sons, while his wife Kristy pursues her career as an interior decorator. He travels to multiple hospitals by small aircraft to cater to his patients’ needs.
